Simple Beauty: Brilliant Lip Butter

I am bringing back the Up All Hours simple beauty posts. These have been overlooked for some time but were always popular with readers. Previous posts have looked at Argan Oil for frizzy hair and quick drying nail polish.

I love items which are practical, serve a purpose and where possible, fit in a busy parents handbag!

Ticking all the boxes above is a brilliant Lip Butter from Korres.

I have good sized lips (if I do say so myself!) and a huge bugbear of mine is that they often look very red (particularly after a couple of drinks the night before!). Red lips doesn’t suit me. I am also not brave enough to leave the house with any form of red lipstick on. Actually, I don’t wear lip-stick in general.

I much prefer pale, natural lips for myself and have struggled to find a lip-salve that successfully tones mine down. That is until I discovered the Korres Lip Butter in Jasmine.

Lip Butter

It is creamy with a wonderful tint that just glides on. Not a dry lip in the house with this bad boy. It smells amazing and contains Jasmine essential oil with Shea Butter. I would take a picture of my lips but frankly I don’t think there is any need for a close up of my face, so you will just have to take my word for it.

Moisturising, nourishing and long lasting  it really is gorgeous and looks very natural. An Up All Hours handbag must!

At £7-8 a pot it isn’t cheap but a pot tends to last me well over a month so over all not bad value for money, especially if you are like me, and use it as a lipstick.

Korres lip butter can be found in Waitrose and Oliver Bonas stores.
