Fussy Toddler – He’s eating what?!

What is he dipping his crispy flat bread into I hear you ask…………………………………………………………..well it’s black olive tapenade of course.

Fresh, delicious  and nutritious olive tapenade.

This is the child that has decided over the last couple of weeks that he doesn’t like pasta anymore, isn’t a fan of anything tomato based and would quite happily live off a diet of Weetabix and banana.

Yummy Mumma

Yummy Mumma

Then he does this.

Devours it, telling me, Daddy and his Nonna’s how yummy it is between greedy mouthfuls. He also happily tucked into a number of Spinach & Taleggio Croquettes and Cauliflower & Cheese Fritters. (All of which are absolutely delicious by the way!)

I love it.

Eat away my boy, you’re not going to see us stopping you!

He brings a smile to my face everyday with his quirky likes and dislikes.

Toddlers never fail to surprise do they!

*We were eating at Jamie’s Italian, if the mention of the fritters has got your mouth watering. It is one of our favourite haunts and all the restaurants are amazingly children friendly.

I’ve never heard of these dishes before! Sounds so yummy! We don’t have anything like that in my area. At least, not that I know of, anyway.

Zhen is a picky eater, too. And so is my 11 y/o daughter Michala! One day they like chicken, then next day they hate it! I don’t get it! 🙂
