Our amazing winter holiday – Skiing, food, drink & friends

It is the last day of our wonderful, child free, ski (or snowboarding in our case) week away.

Whilst I am missing the little man terribly, it has been extremely liberating having so much time off. Sometimes we literally don’t know what to do with ourselves. All the time to sit and chat, enjoy a glass of wine, take your time over a delicious 3 course meal (yes, 3 whole courses!) and even have a massage, is just alien to us.

B is having a whale of a time being spoilt rotten by his Nonna. Every time we Skype he shows us a little something new that she has brought him or something that they have made together. He is of course is sleeping like an angel, last night he completed an uninterrupted sleep from 7pm – 7.15am. He has never done that with us!!!

So with two days left I leave you with a little selection of photographs which I feel really sum up our amazing holiday. I will always be immensely grateful to our wonderful friends who make these trips possible.
