Ohhh Titty!
Just to clarify, this post isn’t about Boobs! Sorry to disappoint any hopeful readers. It is actually about fans, the sort that spin round to cool you down, and the fact that Baby B for some reason not only LOVES them but calls them ‘TITTY’.
This first started in September 2012 when we arrived at my grandmothers house in Spain and Baby B saw the outdoor fan and just started shouting Titty, it has remained this way ever since. He would spend ages just sitting there smiling at the Titty in a very happy place.
The fan aka ‘Titty’ that started it all
He has an amazing ability to spot a Titty a mile off. We could be in a supermarket and he would suddenly just start shouting Titty (yes you can imagine the response that causes) and pointing. There in the distance, 10 aisles down, you can just see the top of a white stand alone fan.
The boy is a fan spotting genius!
This applies to Titties on TV also, there is very lovely Titty at the start of Thomas the Tank Engine and of course, lets not forget Baby Jake – they live in a Titty – much to Baby B’s extreme excitement.
Oh and Titty’s in books – he flicks through his Usborne Touchy-feely ABC book, not happy until he has settled on W – for Titty.
I have had to stop going to our local Mothercare as they have five Titty’s hanging from the ceilling which results in Baby B running round the store informing people of the Titty’s on display. I could see one quite bemused young shop assistant checking her blouse whilst Baby B was shouting Titty at her, she later admitted to me after I had explained the situation that she thought ‘maybe one of hers was popping out’!
I just wanted to share this little insight into our lives with you as it makes me giggle! Good old Baby B always on hand to embarrass his mother.
His father loves it – I can’t imagine why 🙂

Got to love the words they choose sometimes haven’t you? Interestingly my daughter is exactly the same with fans, go into a supermarket and she ignores the food and instead points at the fans on the ceiling
