29 days till wedding D-Day!
In under a month, 29 days to be exact, I will be getting married to Daddy A.

Holy bloody moly, things are all go go go!
I’m going to throw it out there – planning a wedding is a nightmare!
I would like to sincerely apologise to all my friends whose weddings I have attended over the years, for the simple fact that I did not notice or acknowledge the amount of planning and effort that went into it all. As a guest you just rock up, drink the free drink, devour the food on offer then dance until someone puts you in a taxi home.
Until you have planned a wedding yourself you don’t stop to think about who decorated the marquee, who paid for the processo you are downing by the glass, or the notice the lovely vintage broach on the brides dress. It is like becoming a parent, you don’t realise how much work goes into it until you do it!
From now on I promise that I will pay a lot more attention at weddings.
So with 29 days to go we are still yet to sort out an additional marquee, I have completely gone off my wedding dress and Daddy A has turned into Groomzilla! 🙂
And the one thing that actually bothers me is the weather, which of course is in the one thing I can’t do anything about!
I thought I didn’t care. I was just ‘ah it will all be great, I am just going to be so happy to have all my family & friends around me’, well bollocks to that! I do care.
So I am going to share with you our vision, as found by our lovely artistic friend Mel at Absolutely Nothing to Wear, for the barn we are getting married in. We need to turn this barn:

Congratulations! I hope you don’t stress out too much on your wedding planning. Try to take time to enjoy these moments and take pictures, write about it, video record it. Time goes by so quickly. Make the most of your special moments. 🙂 best wishes!
